A leading national law firm with a strong presence in the North West is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Associate to join its highly regarded Clinical Negligence team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive team handling complex, high-value claimant medical negligence work, with exposure to a wide range of specialist areas.
The Role:
You will play a key role in managing and progressing medical negligence claims while supporting clients through challenging circumstances. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, including litigated cases
- Securing interim payments to support early rehabilitation and care needs
- Assisting senior colleagues on complex and high-value claims across areas such as obstetrics, neurosurgery, oncology, spinal injuries and psychiatric care
- Providing clear, compassionate and accurate advice to clients throughout the lifecycle of a claim
- Supervising and supporting junior team members
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service
About You:
- 2-4+ years PQE within claimant Clinical or Medical Negligence
- Experience managing your own caseload, including litigated matters
- Strong technical ability combined with a genuine client-focused approach
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting or supervising junior colleagues
- Commercially aware and proactive in your approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
