Contentious Insolvency Associate

We are working with a leading international law firm who have an established and well-recognised Insolvency practice - in fact, one of the UKs leading practices. There is now an opportunity for a 0 - 2 PQE lawyer to join them in Leeds to focus on contentious insolvency matters.

The focus of this role is contentious, dealing with Insolvency litigation matters, although it is likely you will have a combination of contentious and non-contentious insolvency experience.

The practice has particular experience in administrations, litigation on behalf of insolvency practitioners, asset recovery, retention of title claims and litigation on behalf of and against directors.

They are working with large, high-profile clients across many sectors, assisting with some of their most difficult legal decision making.

The Insolvency practice regularly works as a multi-disciplinary team with colleagues in banking, private equity, pensions, employment, real estate, regulatory and other disciplines providing advice to all business stakeholders in a distressed context.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Insolvency lawyer to join this high-profile practice in Leeds. Reporting directly into the Partners in the team, you will enjoy a pivotal role with the opportunity to build and develop new and existing client relationships by providing them with a first-rate service on a range of non-contentious insolvency matters.
