Contentious Probate Solicitor

You will manage a busy and varied contentious probate caseload, typically up to around £500,000 in value. Responsibilities include:

• Handling will validity challenges and other contentious probate matters

• Running Inheritance Act claims

• Managing executor, trustee and beneficiary disputes

• Advising on related trust and estate litigation

• Working with two experienced colleagues while maintaining autonomy over your own files

Candidate Profile

• Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE in contested probate or private client disputes

• Strong technical knowledge and confident client-handling skills

• Able to manage your own caseload effectively

• Clear communicator with a pragmatic and measured approach
