A prestigious Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners Tier 2 ranked employment team in Manchester, is seeking a dedicated Associate or Senior Associate. This is an exciting time to join one of the leading employment teams in the North, where you will be fully involved in representing a diverse client base, from SMEs to PLCs, across various sectors including retail, sport, manufacturing, financial services, industrial services, and healthcare.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Associate/Senior Associate in Manchester, you will engage in a wide variety of work including employment tribunal litigation, providing day-to-day support to HR teams, HR project work on restructurings, redundancies, and TUPE, corporate transactional support, and acting on executive severances/settlement agreements. You will also supervise junior team members and support partners, with regular opportunities for business development and marketing initiatives to grow the client base and team.

ABOUT YOU
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in employment law post-qualification, ideally gained in a leading national or regional practice. Strong technical skills, the ability to manage a varied caseload, and a genuine passion for business development and career progression are essential. You should also demonstrate:
