A well-established and reputable firm, is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their dynamic team in Stockport. This role offers a unique chance to work alongside two experienced Partners who are consistently bringing in a substantial amount of respondent-based work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Employment Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload with a 50-50 split between respondent and claimant work, encompassing both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will also be expected to conduct your own advocacy work in front of Employment Tribunals, with support available for more complex cases. The role is designed to provide a pathway to partnership, making it an excellent career progression opportunity.
The salary for this Employment Solicitor role is competitive and is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including a 5% pension contribution, a cash plan, 26 days of holiday, and hybrid working arrangements.
ABOUT YOU
To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience as an Employment Solicitor, ideally with 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience. Strong advocacy skills and the ability to handle a mixed caseload independently are essential. You should also be adept at managing both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. A commitment to providing exceptional client service and the ambition to progress within the firm are highly valued.
