A globally renowned law firm, is seeking a qualified lawyer to join their Environmental Health and Safety team in Manchester or Leeds. This is an exceptional chance for a dedicated professional to be part of a top-tier practice that supports leading organisations worldwide. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a qualified lawyer in the EHS team, you will provide environmental and health and safety advice on real estate and corporate transactions. You will work closely with international colleagues on multi-jurisdictional projects, managing large-scale transactions and providing integrated practical advice. The role involves both non-contentious advisory work and contentious environmental work, including regulatory investigations and enforcement actions. The preferred location for this role is Manchester, but Leeds will be considered for the right candidate. Travel around UK offices is essential.
ABOUT YOU
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in environmental law and a strong interest in ESG. Excellent legal research, drafting, and communication skills are essential. A commercial and practical attitude, coupled with the ability to build strong client relationships, will set you apart. A degree classification of 2:1 or higher is required. Experience in business development activities is desirable, and a can do attitude is a must.
