A well-established, multi-office legal group with a strong presence across the North West is looking to recruit an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its Liverpool-based team.
This firm has grown significantly while maintaining a supportive and collaborative working environment.
The Role:
You will work closely with the Head of Department and wider Family team, supporting solicitors on a varied caseload and playing a key role in delivering high-quality client care.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management systems and files
Preparing routine and basic legal documents for solicitor approval
Assisting with legal research, drafting and document preparation
Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
Providing an element of chargeable legal work
Preparing bundles for hearings
Supporting effective risk management and compliance with SRA and firm policies
Delivering excellent client care throughout sensitive family matters
Assisting with general departmental tasks as required
About You:
Minimum 12 months experience as a Paralegal within a Family Law team
Confident drafting basic legal documents and preparing court bundles
Familiar with case management systems and file organisation
Strong communication skills with clients and external parties
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple matters
Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
Empathetic, professional and client-focused
Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
