A well established and reputable personal injury firm based in Liverpool city centre is seeking an experienced MOJ Legal Assistant to join the team. You will be joining a firm offering excellent training, an experienced team providing support as well as good career prospects and career development opportunities.
The Role:
You will be responsible for progressing claims through stage 2 of the MOJ portal. You will be dealing with cases where liability has been admitted and will work both individually as well as part of a team.
Duties will include dealing with both claimant and third parties on the telephone, reviewing medical evidence, reviewing any losses, submitting stage 2 settlement packs, negotiating settlement with third party insurers.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will ideally have previous experience dealing with MOJ cases and have knowledge of the MOJ portal.
Good IT skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines and to prioritise work
