An established and well-regarded law firm based in Liverpool is looking to recruit an experienced MOJ Personal Injury Fee Earner to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience handling personal injury matters within the MOJ Portal who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. Experience of credit hire is advantageous but not essential, as training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role:
You will manage your own caseload from admission of liability through to settlement, ensuring claims are progressed efficiently while delivering a high standard of client care throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing files from admission of liability
Instructing medical experts and reviewing reports
Assessing medical evidence and financial losses
Collating and calculating special damages, including loss of earnings
Preparing and submitting settlement packs
Drafting witness statements
Progressing matters litigated due to limitation
Liaising with clients, insurers and defendants
Recovering vehicle-related damages and credit hire where applicable
Supporting the Team Leader with additional duties as required
About You:
Previous experience handling MOJ Portal personal injury claims
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload
Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, approachable and client-focused
