A leading law firm with offices across Cheshire and Manchester are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join their Wills and Probate team at the Macclesfield office.
The Role:
You will be assisting the Head of Department with a range of duties to include estate planning, will preparation, tax, estate administration, deed of variations, court of protection and lasting powers of attorney.
You will provide a range of administrative support to the department.
You will be completing tasks such as preparing correspondence and standard documents and dealing with clients both in person and over the telephone.
Managing a case load independently.
Keeping up to date with changes in the law.
Ensuring client confidentiality.
Assist in the general smooth running of the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will have previous experience of Private Client matters.
You will be able to show a genuine interest in this area of law.
Strong academics.
Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Well organised and good attention to detail.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is in the region of 24,000 together with a monthly bonus.
