The Opportunity
A well-established and growing legal practice in Liverpool is looking to recruit a Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its real estate team, with a strong focus on real estate finance and bridging finance work.
This role is ideal for someone currently working in residential conveyancing or general property who is keen to move into real estate finance, including fast-paced bridging transactions. The firm is open to upskilling and training the right candidate and offers close support and supervision.
The Role
You will work primarily on real estate finance matters, including:
- Acting for lenders and borrowers on real estate finance transactions
- Bridging finance matters, including short-term secured lending
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
- Carrying out title review, due diligence and reporting
- Drafting and negotiating security documentation
- Dealing with associated commercial property aspects of finance transactions
Candidates transitioning from residential conveyancing will receive structured support to develop expertise in real estate and bridging finance work.
About You
You may be:
- A Property Solicitor or Legal Executive with real estate finance or commercial property experience, or
- A residential conveyancer looking to specialise in real estate and bridging finance
You will also have:
- Strong fundamentals in property law
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight timescales
- A commercial, practical approach to transactions
- A genuine interest in developing a finance-focused practice
