A forward-thinking law firm is looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with conveyancing support experience who is keen to develop their career within a supportive and modern firm.
The role will involve:
Supporting Fee Earners with residential conveyancing transactions
Opening files and issuing client care documentation
Audio typing and preparation of legal correspondence
Drafting and amending documents
Ordering searches, indemnity policies and Land Registry documents
Liaising with clients by phone and in person
Preparing invoices, completion statements and handling funds records
Maintaining the practice management system and file administration
The successful candidate will have:
Strong IT and audio typing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Previous experience in conveyancing or a professional office environment
Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
A proactive approach and strong client care focus
