An established law firm based in Liverpool city centre is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team.
This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years experience in residential conveyancing who is confident supporting fee earners and assisting with their own caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with residential property matters including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
* Managing client files in line with internal procedures and quality standards
* Progressing matters efficiently while keeping clients updated on progress and costs
* Using conveyancing portals such as HMLR, LMS and Lender Exchange
* Maintaining accurate records on the case management system
* Ensuring confidentiality, compliance and high standards of client care
* Supporting compliance requirements including CQS and SRA standards
* Archiving and closing files in a timely manner
* Assisting with business development and professional profile-raising activities where appropriate
The successful candidate will have:
* 1-2 years experience in a residential conveyancing role
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confidence working with case management systems
* A proactive and professional approach to client care
* Good understanding of compliance and quality standards within conveyancing
