As an Employment Solicitor, you will join a team recognised as Band 1 in both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 UK rankings. The team boasts a strong reputation in the Leeds market, representing significant financial services clients, household name corporates, and leading entities in the public and independent health sectors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Employment Solicitor, you will manage a diverse and busy workload, advising various employers, particularly within the financial services sector. You will handle complex discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract litigation under appropriate supervision. Additionally, you will assist on non-contentious projects, including restructures and TUPE across multiple jurisdictions. Your role will also involve general employment advisory work, supervising trainees and paralegals, and participating in business development activities.
ABOUT YOU
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in advising multi-national commercial clients and handling tribunal claims and other contentious matters. You must be an independent thinker focused on generating commercial solutions for clients. Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with clients and influence at all levels are essential. An enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach will thrive in this role.
