An opportunity for a newly qualified employment solicitor to join a well-established team in Altrincham, driven by a consistent flow of both contentious and advisory work. The role offers early responsibility and structured development within a supportive environment.
About the Firm
The firm has a recognised employment practice advising SME clients across a range of sectors. The team works closely with clients on day-to-day issues as well as more complex disputes, with partner involvement in ongoing development.
Role Overview
You'll work closely with an experienced partner on a mix of employment tribunal matters, acting for both claimants and respondents, alongside day-to-day HR advisory work. This includes settlement agreements, support on corporate transactions and general employment advice. The role offers exposure to a broad client base and the chance to develop practical experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to 2 years' PQE as a guide. You'll have gained employment law experience during training and be looking to build on that within a structured team. You should be comfortable dealing directly with clients, willing to take on responsibility and interested in developing your experience across a broad range of employment matters.
