About the Firm
The firm has a well-established family practice with a steady pipeline of work across divorce, children and financial matters. The team operates in a collaborative way, with experienced lawyers supporting each other and working closely on more complex cases.
Role Overview
You'll manage your own caseload across core areas of private family law, including divorce and financial remedy work, private children matters and agreements such as prenuptial arrangements. The role also includes more complex elements such as international aspects of separation and domestic abuse cases where appropriate. Alongside fee-earning, you'll be expected to contribute to the development of new work, building relationships and supporting the continued growth of the team in Leeds.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a family solicitor around 2-5 PQE as a guide. You'll have experience across a range of private family matters and be comfortable running your own files with appropriate support. You should be confident dealing directly with clients and able to approach matters in a practical, measured way. An interest in business development and building relationships is important. Mediation experience would be beneficial but isn't essential.
