Role Overview
You'll handle a caseload of complex private family matters, including divorce, financial remedy work, private children issues and cohabitation disputes. Alongside your own work, you'll play a central role in developing client relationships and contributing to the growth of the team. The position involves working closely with senior leadership on the direction of the department, supporting junior lawyers and helping to build the firm's presence in the Manchester market.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a senior family solicitor around c.8+ PQE as a guide. This could be an existing partner or a senior lawyer ready to step into partnership. You'll have strong experience across core private family work, including financial and children matters, and be confident handling complex cases. A track record of building client relationships and contributing to new work is important, alongside a commercially aware and collaborative approach.
