This is an opportunity to join a well-established Employment team handling a broad mix of work for regional, national and international clients. The role is primarily Leeds-based and offers hands-on, client-facing work with early responsibility across a varied employment practice.

Role overview
The role involves advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters across both contentious and non-contentious work. You'll manage your own matters while supporting senior lawyers on more complex issues, including employment tribunal work where appropriate. The position includes drafting clear, practical and commercially focused advice, attending client meetings, and supporting ongoing client relationships. There is also scope to contribute to business development through networking and client engagement, as well as supervising and delegating work to junior team members. Keeping up to date with legal developments and applying them in practice will be a key part of the role.
Candidate profile
You'll be a qualified solicitor with solid employment law experience, likely to suit around 2-5 PQE as a guide. You'll be comfortable working directly with clients, managing a varied caseload, and balancing competing deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a commercial, pragmatic and well-organised approach. You'll also enjoy working collaboratively within wider teams.
