Overview
An experienced Family Solicitor is needed to join a firm in Liverpool and help develop its privately funded family offering. The role provides a varied caseload spanning divorce and financial matters, private children work and higher-value cases.
About the Firm
This is an established North West law firm with offices in St Helens, Runcorn and Widnes. The firm is looking to develop its presence in Liverpool, with Family forming an important part of that offering.
This is an immediate requirement and the firm is looking for someone who can bring experience to the practice while also contributing to its longer-term development.
Role Overview
* Handle a varied caseload of privately funded family matters.
* Advise on divorce, separation and associated financial matters.
* Deal with private children cases.
* Handle higher-value and more complex family matters where appropriate.
* Take responsibility for matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
* Contribute to the development of the firm's Family offering in Liverpool.
Candidate Profile
Around six years' PQE or above is a useful guide rather than a strict requirement.
You should have established experience of privately funded family law, ideally encompassing divorce and finance as well as private children work.
The role will suit someone comfortable handling their own client relationships and caseload, but who also wants to play a part in developing a practice in Liverpool.
