The role reflects continued demand for the firm's residential conveyancing services and forms part of the firm's longer-term planning for the department. The successful solicitor will join a settled and experienced team led by an experienced Partner, with the opportunity to take responsibility for a full caseload of quality residential work.

The Firm

This is a long-standing regional practice with a strong reputation in its local market and a loyal client base built over many years. The firm is known for its approachable culture, sensible expectations and consistently strong staff retention.

Many members of the team have built long tenures at the firm, reflecting a stable and supportive working environment.

Role Overview

You will join an established residential property team currently consisting of two experienced fee earners supported by around four members of support staff, allowing lawyers to focus on delivering a high standard of client service.

The role involves managing a full residential caseload from instruction through to completion, including:

* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Registered and unregistered property matters
* New build transactions
* Shared ownership work
* Buy-to-let sales and purchases
* Right to buy matters
* Remortgages
* Transfers of equity and gifts of property

Files are handled end-to-end, with strong administrative support in place. The firm benefits from good quality repeat clients and steady referral work, which results in a consistent and manageable flow of transactions.

Monthly billing expectations are sensible and realistic, reflecting the firm's long-term approach to client relationships rather than volume-driven conveyancing.

Candidate Profile

This role is likely to suit a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE, although the level is intended as a guide.

You will ideally:

* Be confident managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
* Have experience across traditional residential property transactions
* Be comfortable working in a client-facing role with established local clients
* Value working within a stable and collaborative team environment

Solicitors seeking a long-term role within a well-established practice with strong staff retention are likely to find this opportunity particularly appealing.

Offer and Benefits

* Competitive salary
* Office-based role in Bury with a dedicated parking space
* Established team structure with strong support
* Sensible monthly billing expectations
* Quality work from long-standing clients
