Role Overview
You'll advise on a wide range of commercial disputes, including high-value and strategically important litigation. The work is likely to involve complex contractual disputes, shareholder issues, and multi-party litigation, often with cross-border elements. Alongside managing your own matters, you'll play a visible role in developing client relationships, supporting junior lawyers, and contributing to the wider growth of the team. There is a clear expectation at this level to be involved in business development and to help shape the direction of the practice in Manchester.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a commercial disputes lawyer with around 8+ PQE, currently operating at Senior Associate, Legal Director, or equivalent level. You'll need strong technical experience across complex litigation, be confident leading matters, and comfortable engaging directly with clients at a senior level. This role will suit someone looking for a step into a more strategic position, with greater influence over client work and team development.
