A commercial litigation team in Leeds is looking to appoint a mid-level solicitor as it moves into a more settled phase following a recent leadership change. The focus is on bringing in an experienced associate who can take ownership of work and play a part in shaping how the team develops.

Role Overview
You will handle a broad caseload of commercial disputes, including contractual issues, shareholder disputes, and general litigation, acting for a mix of business clients across different sectors. The role involves managing your own matters with appropriate supervision, depending on complexity, while also working closely with junior lawyers and supporting their development over time. There is scope to contribute to how the team operates as it continues to grow, rather than stepping into a fixed or fully established structure.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a solicitor with around 3-8 years' PQE in commercial litigation. You should be comfortable running your own matters and have a solid grounding across general dispute resolution work. This will suit someone who wants to be part of a team that is still taking shape, rather than one that is already fully defined.
