A highly regarded specialist commercial law firm in Liverpool is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its growing disputes team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious litigator seeking high-quality work, strong client exposure and genuine long-term progression within a supportive and partner-led environment.
The Role
You will join a busy and well-established Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team acting for owner-managed businesses, corporates, directors, shareholders, investors, landlords and other commercial clients on a broad range of complex and business-critical disputes.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while also supporting on larger and more complex matters. The role offers exposure to a varied and interesting workload including:
* Contractual disputes
* Shareholder and director disputes
* Professional negligence claims
* Debt recovery matters
* Injunctions
* Contentious probate
* Property-related disputes including lease and dilapidations matters
* Insolvency-related disputes
You will be encouraged to take an active role in business development, networking and helping to grow the profile of the department.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in commercial litigation/dispute resolution
* Have strong experience managing litigation matters independently
* Possess excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills
* Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of the CPR and pre-action protocols
* Be commercially minded with a pragmatic and proactive approach
* Thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
