An ambitious and growing commercial law firm is looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor to join its expanding corporate team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer who is looking to take on high-quality work within a supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced corporate lawyers on a broad range of transactions and advisory matters for SMEs, owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients across a variety of sectors.
The Role
You will be involved in a wide range of corporate matters including:
* Mergers and acquisitions
* Shareholder agreements
* Company reorganisations
* Corporate governance and advisory work
* General transactional support
* Business sales and acquisitions
The role offers excellent client exposure and the opportunity to take on responsibility from an early stage within a collaborative and close-knit team.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in corporate law
* Have solid transactional experience gained within a recognised corporate team
* Be commercially aware and confident dealing directly with clients
* Possess strong drafting and communication skills
* Be enthusiastic, proactive and keen to develop their career within a growing practice
