A corporate practice in Bury is seeking a Corporate Solicitor as part of continued growth within the team. Increased transactional demand from an established base of owner-managed and SME clients has created the need for an additional fee earner to support ongoing deal flow.
This is a role offering genuine involvement in live transactions within a focused corporate environment.
The Firm
The firm is an established North West practice with a strong reputation across corporate, commercial and private client work. The corporate team operates as a specialist unit within the wider firm, advising regional businesses on transactions and strategic corporate matters.
The culture is approachable and pragmatic, with an emphasis on commercial advice and long-term client relationships.
Role
You will:
Advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including share and asset sales, shareholder agreements and general corporate advisory work
Draft and negotiate transactional documentation and supporting commercial agreements
Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision depending on experience
Work closely with senior members of the team on more complex matters
Develop relationships with owner-managed businesses and regional clients
The role is delivery-focused, with exposure to matters from instruction through to completion.
Candidate
Likely to suit a solicitor with around NQ-3 PQE as a guide and experience handling corporate transactions.
You may currently be in a larger regional team seeking more direct involvement in deals, or in a smaller practice looking to strengthen your exposure to structured corporate work.
Strong drafting ability, commercial awareness and a steady, organised approach will be important.

Salary £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience
