This is a respected regional law firm with an established residential property practice and a strong reputation for client care. The team works collaboratively, handling a broad range of residential transactions while maintaining a supportive and professional working environment.
Role Overview
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion.
- Handle sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, new build transactions, shared equity, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Provide clear legal advice and deliver an excellent standard of client care throughout each transaction.
- Draft, review and complete legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Manage matters in line with agreed service standards, compliance requirements and financial targets.
- Support colleagues on more complex transactions where required.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the team, including mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate.
Candidate Profile
This opportunity is likely to suit candidates with around five years' residential conveyancing experience or equivalent.

You should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently.
- Knowledge of freehold, leasehold, new build, shared equity, remortgage and transfer of equity transactions.
- A good understanding of Land Registry procedures and SDLT requirements.
- The ability to manage files efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service.
- Confidence using case management systems and legal technology.
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- A professional and proactive approach to client care.
Previous business development experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Salary
Competitive, depending on experience.
