A well-established and growing law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its expanding team based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor up to around 5 years PQE seeking to develop their career within a supportive, ambitious, and client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters with appropriate supervision depending on experience level. The role offers exposure to complex and rewarding work alongside experienced practitioners dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
The Role
You will:
Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception through to resolution
Investigate claims by reviewing medical records and instructing medical experts
Assess breach of duty and causation issues
Draft legal documentation including witness statements, schedules of loss, and letters of claim
Advise clients with empathy and professionalism throughout the claims process
Negotiate settlements and pursue interim payments where appropriate
Attend conferences, mediations, and court hearings
Work collaboratively within a highly regarded specialist team
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
About You
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with:
NQ - 5 years PQE
Experience within Clinical Negligence or Personal Injury litigation
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive and client-focused approach
The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
A genuine passion for supporting clients through sensitive and complex matters
