A well-established and growing law firm in Liverpool is seeking an experienced EL/PL Solicitor or Fee Earner to join its busy and successful Personal Injury department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated litigator to manage a varied caseload of Employers' Liability and Public Liability matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for handling a caseload of pre- and post-litigated EL/PL claims from inception through to settlement or trial. Duties will include:
Reviewing liability and evidence
Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal documentation
Negotiating settlements
Preparing matters for issue and trial
Advising clients throughout the litigation process
Managing files efficiently in line with compliance and procedural requirements
About You:
Applications are welcomed from candidates who have:
Proven experience managing an EL/PL caseload
Strong litigation and negotiation skills
Experience using Proclaim case management system
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
A proactive and client-focused approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
