An established law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Solicitor with around 1-4 years' PQE to join its Chester team.
This is a good opportunity for a junior to mid-level corporate lawyer who wants broad transactional experience, regular client contact and the chance to develop alongside experienced Corporate Partners.
About the Firm
The corporate team advises businesses across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, professional services, banking, charities and owner-managed businesses.
The team offers junior lawyers exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as their experience develops.
Role Overview
- Advise on business and share acquisitions and disposals.
- Work on mergers, investments and corporate reorganisations.
- Support clients on share option schemes and wider corporate matters.
- Work directly with clients across a broad range of sectors.
- Develop greater responsibility for transactions and client relationships as your experience grows.
- Work alongside Corporate Partners on larger and more complex matters.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a Corporate Solicitor with around 1-4 years' PQE as a guide.
You'll need experience of corporate transactional work and a solid understanding of the practical and commercial issues involved in advising businesses.
The role should particularly suit someone who wants to develop their technical skills, increase their level of client contact and take on greater responsibility within an established corporate team.
