The firm has seen significant expansion across multiple locations, and this role will initially be based in the Altrincham office during the training period, with flexibility to work from home or other regional offices thereafter.

The role

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of deputyship administration matters, often involving clients with complex needs and high-value litigation awards. Key duties include:

• Advising on the Mental Capacity Act and best interests decisions

• Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court papers

• Liaising with families, deputies, experts, and counsel

• Representing clients in court and tribunals where required

• Supporting and supervising junior team members as appropriate

• Excellent client care skills, with the ability to work sensitively with vulnerable clients and their families

• Strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills

• Confident working in a paperless environment with solid IT skills
