An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor (Associate) to join a well-established employment team based in Leeds city centre. The role is likely to suit someone with around 5 years' PQE or more who enjoys a varied mix of executive exits, claimant employment litigation and advisory work. The position has been created to support ongoing employment work within the team and to provide additional employment law expertise alongside the firm's wider Company and Commercial offering.

This is a large Yorkshire-based law firm with a significant regional presence and more than 450 employees across 25 offices. Role Overview

* Managing a caseload of employment matters, with a particular focus on executive exits and claimant employment disputes.

* Handling Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution.

* Advising clients on a range of contentious employment law matters.

* Supporting the Company's Commercial team on employment-related issues.

* Working closely with and under the supervision of an experienced Partner.

* Delivering clear, practical advice while maintaining high standards of client care and service.

Candidate Profile

* Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.

* Likely to suit someone with around 5 years' PQE or more as a guide.

* Strong working knowledge of Employment Tribunal procedure and litigation.

* Experience of respondent work and non-contentious employment advice would be advantageous but is not essential.

* Able to communicate technical legal issues clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.

* Organised, methodical and able to manage competing deadlines effectively.

* Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
