A respected national law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Associate in Leeds to join its expanding team. The group is handling a growing volume of employment tribunal work alongside a strong pipeline of advisory and non-contentious employment matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment solicitor seeking progression, variety, and exposure to high-quality employer clients within a supportive and flexible environment.
About the Firm:

The employment law team works nationally, partnering with major UK employers across a range of sectors. The environment combines the resources of a large national practice with the approachability of a close-knit team, offering a platform for meaningful career growth.
Role Overview:
Manage your own caseload of employment tribunal claims for major employer clients.
Advise on non-contentious employment law matters, including contracts, policies, TUPE and restructures.
Support partners on complex, multi-party or high-value cases.
Supervise junior team members and contribute to team know-how.
Build strong, trusted relationships through commercial, solution-focused advice.
Contribute to business development and client tenders as the team grows.
Candidate Profile:
2-4 years PQE (up to 5 years considered) with strong employment law experience.
Tribunal experience essential; broader advisory and transactional exposure beneficial.
Confident managing matters independently with partner support when needed.
Excellent communication, drafting, and client-handling skills.
Team-oriented, ambitious, and looking to progress within a growing national employment team.
Based in or commutable to Leeds.
