Role Overview
- Advising employer clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Managing day-to-day advisory work for SMEs and larger regional businesses
- Supporting on employment tribunal claims and more complex disputes
- Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload
- Building direct relationships with clients from an early stage
- Taking increasing ownership of matters as your experience develops
Candidate Profile
This is likely to suit a qualified solicitor at NQ to c.4 PQE as a guide, with employment experience gained during training or post-qualification. You should be comfortable managing your own matters where appropriate and working directly with clients. A commercial, pragmatic approach will be important, along with an interest in building long-term client relationships. Exposure to immigration work would be helpful, but it isn't essential.
