A well-established Liverpool law firm is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join its busy and respected family team.
This is a direct replacement role within a longstanding department with a strong reputation for publicly funded family work. The successful candidate will predominantly handle care proceedings and wider public law children matters, working within a supportive and experienced team environment.
The firm is open to considering candidates from newly qualified level through to around 5 years' PQE. The caseload can be tailored depending on experience and background, making this an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to further develop their career within family law.
Whilst the focus of the role is public law children work, it would be beneficial if candidates are also able to assist with privately funded divorce and finance matters where required.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Have experience in family law, particularly public law children matters
- Be confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Have strong client care and advocacy skills
- Be empathetic, organised and committed to helping vulnerable clients
