An established law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join its Shrewsbury team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to handle complex, high-value family work within a well-regarded practice, with direct access to experienced partners and the autonomy to manage their own caseload.

The family team is recognised in both The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, with particular strength in financial disputes and children matters.
You'll join an experienced, partner-led team handling complex and often sensitive work for a high-quality client base.
Role Overview
- Advise on divorce and separation, including complex financial arrangements.
- Handle financial settlements and property matters involving significant assets.
- Advise on private children matters and wider family disputes.
- Manage matters from initial instruction through to conclusion with a good degree of autonomy.
- Work directly with experienced Family Partners on more complex matters.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to the team's wider business development activity.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a Family Solicitor with around 5+ years' PQE as a guide.
You'll need solid experience across divorce, financial remedy and children matters, together with the confidence to manage complex cases from start to finish.
The role should particularly suit someone who values high-quality work and autonomy but still wants the support and collaboration of an experienced specialist family team.
Offer and Benefits
Up to £70,000, dependent on experience.
The package includes a minimum of five weeks' annual leave, enhanced pension, healthcare scheme, four times salary death in service and a supported parking scheme.
