An established regional law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join its Chester office.
The Chester private client team is developing, and this appointment is intended to add further senior experience. You'll manage your own varied caseload with a high degree of autonomy, while also having the opportunity to contribute to the longer-term growth of the team.
About the Firm
The firm has an established private client practice advising individuals and families across wills, probate, estate planning and related matters.
You'll join a developing Chester team, working alongside experienced private client lawyers with access to senior support when needed.
Role Overview
- Manage a broad private client caseload with a good degree of autonomy.
- Advise on wills, probate and estate administration.
- Handle lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Work with the Head of Department and senior colleagues on the continued development of the Chester team.
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Develop your professional network and contribute to business development activity.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a Private Client Solicitor with around 5+ years' PQE as a guide.
You'll need strong technical experience across wills, probate and estate planning, together with the confidence to manage your own caseload and client relationships.
The role should particularly suit someone who wants a good level of autonomy but also wants to contribute more broadly to the development of a team as their career progresses.
