What you will do
Run a mixed caseload of property disputes, including leasehold issues, boundary disputes and adverse possession.
Advise on Section 20 consultations, and prepare or respond to s25 and s26 notices and dilapidations claims.
Draft and handle proceedings in the County Court, High Court and First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).
Provide clear written and verbal advice; attend site visits with experts where appropriate.
Liaise with clients, opponents, courts, tribunals and third parties to progress matters efficiently.
Supervise and delegate to paralegals, supporting their development.
Maintain compliance with professional, regulatory and internal quality standards.
Monitor matter finances and contribute to know-how, process improvement and business development.
About you
Qualified Solicitor or CILEX (with litigation rights), around 2-3 PQE in property litigation.
Strong experience across leasehold disputes, boundaries, adverse possession, Section 20, s25/s26 notices, dilapidations and HM Land Registry portal use.
Confident running your own files, meeting deadlines and working to agreed fee targets.
Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills, with sound commercial awareness.
Meticulous attention to detail, well organised and a team player.
Competent user of Outlook, Word and case management systems.
Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential.
