As a Public Children Law Solicitor/Legal Executive, you will join a firm recognised for its excellence by the Law Society.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Public Children Law Solicitor/Legal Executive, you will work collaboratively with an experienced team handling a range of public children matters involving local authorities. You will run a varied and interesting caseload consisting of pre-proceedings, applications for emergency protection orders, care or supervision orders, placement orders, and discharge of care orders. Based in Crewe, this full-time position offers a supportive and collaborative environment, with opportunities for personal development and career progression. ABOUT YOU
You will have proven experience working in public children law and a strong understanding of the Public Funding system (Legal Aid). Exceptional time management and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously and effectively. You will be client-focused, with excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients, local authorities, other professionals, and colleagues. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years PQE as a Public Children Law Solicitor or Legal Executive and either be on the Law Societys Accredited Children Panel or interested in working towards accreditation.
