A full-service regional law firm in Macclesfield is looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) as part of the continued expansion of its private client team. The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues and building long-term client relationships in a well-established local practice.

This is a well-regarded regional firm offering a broad range of legal services to individuals and businesses across the local area. The firm has built its reputation on long-standing client relationships, practical advice and a collaborative working culture.
The private client team continues to see increasing demand for its services, which has led to the decision to strengthen the team with an additional experienced solicitor.
Role Overview
Manage a broad caseload of private client matters including wills, probate and estate administration
Advise clients on estate planning, lasting powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters
Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and dependable service
Maintain effective control of time recording, billing and cash collection in line with agreed targets
Work alongside the Head of Department and senior management in supporting the ongoing development of the team
Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues where appropriate
Participate in business development activity, including networking and relationship building
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a Private Client Solicitor with around 5+ years' PQE as a guide.
You will ideally demonstrate:
Strong technical experience across wills, probate and estate planning
Excellent client care and communication skills
A well-organised and detail-focused approach to managing a varied caseload
The ability to guide clients through complex and often sensitive matters with empathy and clarity
An interest in building professional relationships and supporting the continued development of the practice
Offer and Benefits
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
