ABOUT THE FIRM
Our client is seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join their Real Estate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading international commercial firm. This role will support a thriving Real Estate team, providing advice in property investment, development, planning, and disputes. The Paralegal role is integral to the firms mission to inspire, impact, and support clients and colleagues alike.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Paralegal in Real Estate, you will support the UK Real Estate team, dealing with large development companies, banks, pension funds, private investors, and retail funds. Your responsibilities will include managing data rooms, checking and scheduling deeds, submitting and tracking searches, and handling Land Registry applications. For those with proven experience, you will manage a busy caseload of transactions, including short-term leases, licences, surrenders, and rent reviews. You will also assist with file opening procedures and ensure compliance with money laundering regulations.
The salary for the Paralegal role is highly competitive and reviewed annually. Additional benefits include a flexible, hybrid working policy, a generous bonus scheme, up to 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days with service), a holiday exchange scheme, private medical insurance, and enhanced parental leave.
ABOUT YOU
You will be an enthusiastic individual with a strong academic background and a keen eye for detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are necessary. A degree in law or an equivalent qualification is preferred, but not essential. Alternatively, you may be working towards CILEX. For the experienced Real Estate Paralegal role, proven experience in a Real Estate legal environment is required.
