Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Legal Executive (2-6 PQE)

A well-established and highly regarded North West law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and forward thinking firm with a strong reputation in claimant clinical negligence work. You will manage your own caseload while working alongside experienced practitioners in a supportive and quality driven environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for handling a caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters of varying complexity and value, managing files from instruction through to conclusion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of clinical negligence claims
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings and other legal documentation
- Conducting legal research and advising on case strategy
- Liaising with clients, Counsel, medical experts, courts and other third parties
- Attending client meetings, conferences with Counsel and hearings where appropriate
- Managing deadlines, limitation dates and key milestones
- Maintaining accurate and compliant case files in line with regulatory requirements
- Supporting team collaboration, knowledge sharing and mentoring where appropriate
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with ideally 2-6 years' PQE in clinical negligence
- Proven experience managing your own claimant clinical negligence caseload
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach
- High attention to detail and strong understanding of compliance and risk
- Confident IT skills, including experience with case management systems
- Genuine interest in clinical negligence work and achieving positive client outcomes
