A well-established full-service law firm in Ormskirk is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) to join its team. The role has arisen following the departure of a more senior lawyer, creating an opportunity for a junior solicitor to step into an active caseload and work closely with a director. This is a chance to build experience quickly within a supportive, close-knit team.

Role Overview
Managing a broad commercial property caseload including leases, landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals
Working closely with a director on more complex transactions
Advising a mixed client base including local SMEs and property owners
Taking responsibility for files with appropriate supervision depending on experience
Developing client relationships through regular direct contact
Supported by two members of support staff within a small fee-earning team
The structure means you will be visible within the team and closely involved in matters from an early stage.
Candidate Profile
Qualified solicitor NQ-3 PQE (as a guide)
Commercial property experience preferred
Candidates with transferable skills, including a residential conveyancing background, will be considered
Comfortable managing client relationships and progressing matters with appropriate supervision
Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity within a local firm
The firm recognises the current NQ market and is open-minded on background where core property experience is transferable.
Offer and Benefits
£40,000-£45,000 depending on experience
1 day per week working from home
9-5 working hours with no expectation of regular out-of-hours work
