Corporate Partner

This is an opportunity for an established Corporate Partner, or a senior lawyer ready to step up, to play a leading role in a well-regarded national Corporate practice with genuine regional ambition.

The firm has a strong and established Corporate offering, advising owner-managed businesses alongside private equity and venture capital-backed clients. What it is now looking for is a senior corporate lawyer who wants more than a title change - someone who wants influence, visibility and the backing to grow a practice properly.

The opportunity

You would take a visible leadership role within the regional Corporate team, with the scope to shape client strategy, develop people and build deeper relationships across the firm's national platform.

The work is weighted towards MandA for owner-managed businesses, with complementary PE and investment mandates. There is an existing client base and deal flow, alongside clear appetite from the firm to support further growth rather than expecting a Partner to operate in isolation.

This is not a short-term expansion hire. The firm is focused on sustainable growth, long-term client relationships and building practices that endure.

What they're looking for

• An established Corporate Partner, or senior lawyer with the credibility and ambition to move into partnership

• Strong MandA experience, ideally including owner-managed businesses and investment work

• A demonstrable client following, or clear evidence of the ability to originate and grow work

• A commercial, pragmatic approach and a willingness to collaborate across offices

• An interest in mentoring and developing senior lawyers as part of a broader team
