Role Overview
You'll take on a visible leadership role within the regional corporate team, with scope to shape client strategy and contribute to the development of both people and the wider practice. The work is centred on MandA for owner-managed businesses, alongside private equity and investment transactions. There is an existing client base and consistent deal flow, with support from the wider national platform. The firm is focused on building depth over time, rather than short-term expansion, and you'll be supported in developing relationships and growing the practice in a considered way.
Candidate Profile
This role is likely to suit an established corporate partner, or a senior lawyer ready to move into partnership. You'll have strong MandA experience, ideally including work with owner-managed businesses and investment-backed clients. A track record of developing client relationships is important, whether through an existing following or clear evidence of originating and growing work. You should take a commercial, pragmatic approach and be comfortable working collaboratively across offices. An interest in mentoring and developing more junior lawyers is also important.
