An established and growing legal business is seeking an experienced Credit Hire Litigator / Fee Earner to join its expanding litigation team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional with strong Credit Hire experience who enjoys delivering high standards of client service and achieving successful outcomes.
The Role:
You will manage a caseload of litigated Credit Hire matters, handling claims from proceedings through to resolution and, where required, trial.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a caseload of fast-track and multi-track Credit Hire claims
Handling liability disputed matters
Ensuring compliance with court directions, procedural rules, and internal processes
Maintaining regular communication with clients and stakeholders
Building and maintaining strong relationships with hire companies
Negotiating settlements and progressing cases efficiently
Working collaboratively within a busy litigation team
Using case management systems to maintain accurate records
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience handling litigated Credit Hire claims
Experience managing RTA matters through to settlement or trial
Strong knowledge of Credit Hire litigation, CPR, MOJ protocols, and pre-action procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A proactive and commercially aware approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience using Proclaim case management software would be advantageous
