An opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a well-established Commercial Property team in Leeds from September.
The firm already knows it will not have any internal trainees qualifying into the team this year. As a result, they are going to market early to secure one of the strongest soon-to-qualify candidates before the usual autumn competition begins.
This is a structured, forward-planned hire rather than a reactive replacement.

This is a single-site Leeds firm of around 300 people with a strong corporate and commercial focus alongside a respected private client practice.

The wider Real Estate offering is a core part of the firm's commercial identity.
Role Overview
You will join a three-Partner Commercial Property team of around 25 lawyers and support staff, sitting within the broader Real Estate group.
The role is likely to involve:
A broad range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals
Landlord and tenant work
Supporting on larger, more complex development and investment matters
Direct client contact from an early stage
Working closely with partners who are actively involved in day-to-day matters
The team is well-established and busy, with a strong flow of work from the firm's corporate and private wealth client base.
Candidate Profile
Likely to suit a trainee solicitor due to qualify this September or recently qualified with up to 1 year's PQE as a guide.
You should have completed at least one seat in commercial property and be confident handling core transactional work with appropriate supervision.
An interest in building a long-term career in commercial real estate within a sizeable but single-site firm environment will be important.
Offer and Benefits
The current NQ salary is £55,000. This is subject to confirmation closer to the September start date.
