An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a highly regarded and growing law firm in Liverpool.
This is an ideal role for an ambitious conveyancer looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and forward thinking environment. The successful candidate will join an established property team with a strong reputation, loyal client base and a consistent flow of quality instructions.
The firm acts on a broad range of residential property matters, including high value transactions, secured lending work and complex conveyancing matters. The team prides itself on delivering a high quality, client focused service and maintaining long standing relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts.
The Role:
You will manage your own varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post-completion, while working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver practical and commercially focused advice.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Handling transfers of equity, remortgages and new build transactions
Advising clients on all aspects of residential property transactions
Reviewing titles, searches, mortgage offers and enquiries
Drafting and negotiating contracts and related documentation
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors
Preparing matters for exchange and completion
Ensuring post-completion work is completed accurately and efficiently
Maintaining excellent client care standards throughout the transaction
Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities
About You:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and Chartered Legal Executives with:
A minimum of 5 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in Residential Property
Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation
Experience handling leasehold matters and more complex transactions
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and commercial approach to client service
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
The ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and referrers
A client following would be advantageous but is not essential.
